DON’T Tell The Bride viewers were left in hysterics last night as a groom splashed his cash on a Mr Bean impersonator and just £27 on bridesmaid dresses.
Lee, 29, was tasked with organising his wedding day with Becky, 26, without any involvement from her.
But it soon became clear where his priorities lay as he spent thousands on his own stag do, £976 on decorations and on a venue in a maze.
He splashed £1,400 on two camper vans as they decided to drive around Europe in four days and visit nine countries.
Viewers were gobsmacked when the cable installation specialist then decided to get a Mr Bean impersonator to drive Becky to the venue, blowing most of the £14,000 budget.
While it was a romantic touch, because the couple went to see Mr Bean on their first date, it left him with little money for essentials like bridesmaid dresses.
He ended up spending just £27 on dresses he bought online, which went down very badly with the bridesmaids.
One of them told him: “This is the worst experience of my life sat here now.”
Those watching at home found the whole thing highly amusing and took to Twitter to comment on it.
A viewer wrote: “Lee got to be blind if he ever thought the bridesmaids dresses looked pretty. #DTTB.”
